We envision a world where all children can enjoy their social, economic, cultural and political rights. We want to help build societies based on social justice and fair distribution of power and resources for children and their families, where all children are protected from harm and discrimination.
We strive to advance an agenda of social justice for children and to strengthen the impact of programs and policies on children’s wellbeing.
We stimulate critical thinking and create and disseminate knowledge about how to address child poverty, marginalization and inequality. We do so by:
- Establishing forums of exchange, debate and advocacy among researchers, policy makers, agents of social movements and civil society and practitioners
- Shining a light on new and innovative practices and theories
- Translating complex theories and research into applicable tools for practitioners
- Networking with activist and advocacy groups
