Session 5 at the Adolescent Girls - Cornerstone of Society Conference was titled "Gender Analyses of Emerging Trends". The session was opened by presentation "Will Global Climate Change Negotiations Advance Gender Equality" by Tracy Raczek from UNIFEM HQ followed by a presentation"Youth, gender and climate change: Moving from impacts to agency" by Thomas Tanner from Institute of Development Studies. Presenters included Ummey Qulsum Nipun from Save the Children USA-Bangladesh Country Office, Claudio Santibanez from UNICEF Bolivia and Mary Racelis from Ateneo de Manila University. Session 5 was chaired by MIchael Cohen, director of the Graduate Program in International Affairs at the New School University.
