Impact Report 2020
Since the start of Covid-19, Equity for Children initiated programming to reflect the urgent needs experienced by vulnerable families and their children. The pandemic exacerbated existing inequalities, putting an estimated 60 million children at risk of falling into poverty. Economic hardship experienced by families threatens all aspects of child wellbeing, but the digital divide reflected in home schooling presents a grave danger of rising inequality.
