November 20th, 2009 marked 20 years of the Convention of the Rights of the Child. UNICEF and others worldwide organized a series of global events, including an International Child Rights Documentary Film Series with several screenings in New York City. On the 20th, UNICEF also released the 2009 State of the World's Children report, with a special focus on children's rights.
