Blog on the Future of Child Rights in Brazil (FOCRIB)

In the summer of 2008, three students from the Graduate Program in International Affairs at New School University in New York City traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to research media and children’s rights. Their research on the diverse sections within children’s rights, coinciding with the 18th birthday of Brazil’s Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA) and Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), prompted the birth of “Future of Children’s Rights in Brazil (FOCRIB).
