UNICEF and ODI Seminar: Investment in Children

On 2 April 2009, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and world leaders from the G-20 met to address the global financial crisis. Caroline Harper launched off proceedings with a presentation on the key findings from recent Overseas Development Institute (ODI) research, for UNICEF UK, on the effects of economic crises for children.

David Bull, the director of UNICEF UK, highlighted children’s rights and our moral imperative to act.
