EFC Talks with Tamara Kreinin About The Girl Up Campaign

This month in EFC Talks, we continue discussing with Tamara Kreinin, the Executive Director of Women and Population at the United Nations Foundation, about the UNF’s project, Girl Up. Girl Up is a campaign that gives American girls the opportunity to raise awareness and funds to assist girls in developing countries. Denouncing that 1 in 7 girls are married before the age of 15 in developing countries, the Girl Up campaign focuses on providing education, healthcare, and a sanitary environment in the regions that are most difficult to reach, where girl child marriage is still a common phenomenon.
