The SDGs and the fight against child poverty

In this interview Alipui outlines UNICEF’s priorities for the next fifteen years, focusing on how they can impact children’s rights and wellbeing. He also takes a critical look at the SDGs and proposes ways to help refocus development to better address inequities.

Under Nicholas Alipui’s leadership UNICEF is guiding Member States in crafting the Post-2015 Development Agenda, in particular through the organization’s involvement in the UN Technical Support Team.
