New Reports for the Post-2015 Agenda, Published by SDSN

This month the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) launched Data for Development: A Needs Assessment for SDG Monitoring and Statistical Capacity Development during the World Bank & IMF Spring Meetings. This report, written by SDSN and a broad coalition of data for development experts, estimates that a total of $1 billion USD per year will be required to enable 77 of the world’s lower-income countries to effectively measure the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). International assistance will be required to support country efforts to monitor the SDGs and adopt new, innovative approaches to fulfill the data revolution.

The SDSN is also releasing a revised version of its report, Financing Sustainable Development: Implementing the SDGs through Effective Investment Strategies and Partnerships, following public consultation. The report puts forth a broad financial framework to achieve the SDGs, including a set of specific recommendations for the July Financing for Development (FfD) Conference.
